And then there was one

Well this summer has started out so wonderfully. I got to spend some great quality time with my brother before he went off to Egypt for his Cross Cultural trip. And I got to spend some great time with friends from home since their back from school too.

I'm just a bit lonely right now because two of the most important people in my life are now on their way to, and have quite possibly landed in, Egypt. They will be gone for over three weeks. It will be such an incredible journey and experience for both of them, but I miss Clark and Kyle already.

So, since I'm a bit sad and lonely, I turn to God and his gift of music. He is so incredible and so thoughtful to give us music. It's a great release. Singing will help. So I'm going to do that. :)
Let's sing.

And then there was summer :)

Well, moving out was much more of a hassle than moving in. :P Took up a lot more space leaving than coming to school. But I made it home with everything as far as I know. :)

I've had a very relaxing weekend and have enjoyed hanging out with my family and friends. :) Tomorrow I'm going to have dinner with my aunt and uncle and cousin who is going to be coming to SAU next year, and my family will be there, and Kyle :) Should be a fun dinner :)

And now I'm off to bed. This should be a very fun week :)

Praise the Lord exams are done!

Yay! Exams are allllll done which means that I am officially a college sophomore! How crazy is that?!

I have a theory. I don't think we ever really "grow up" and get more mature. I think we adapt to responsibilities when they are given to us and act our way into feeling comfortable with them. Just a thought.

I had a great lunch with my Daddio and got hit on by our waiter. It was pretty darn funny. :P

Tonight should be very fun, Kyle and I are double dating with Hannah and Ethan. :) I'm pretty excited about it. :)

It's crazy to think that this year already coming to an end. It went by so incredibly fast!

And now, I shall watch Audrey Hepburn. I think that's a great way to commemorate the end of this fabulous year! :D

Ta ta!

Rain, rain, go away... I have to walk outside a lot today.

The weather is quite dreary. But being inside with great friends makes up for it. :)

Almost done with my first year of college. How crazy is that?

I am officially going to see The Phantom of the Opera on May 26th with Aley! We have second row balcony seats! SO EXCITED!

I can't wait to be done with this year, I'm definitely going to miss all my friends and people here though. But this is going to be a great summer. :)

Ta ta for now!

Great Night and Happy Mother's Day!

I had a very good evening this blustery Saturday! Kyle and I ate some questionable chicken in the DC and then watched the ending of the Sixth Sense in my lobby. At 8, when we're allowed to be adults aka. open hours, we went over to his room and watched Funny Girl. First time I've seen it, I liked it a whole lot. Wasn't too thrilled with the ending, but the whole thing is WAY too good for that to mess it up! :)

I feel much better now. I think this past evening helped quite a bit. :) Now I just have to survive finals and I'll be done with this first year of college!

It is Mother's Day now, seeing as it's past midnight. So I would like to say a few things about my incredible Mom. I have been so incredibly blessed to have such a remarkable woman in my life. Without her I doubt I'd be here... that is to say, without her, I wouldn't be here! And if she hadn't put so much of herself into my life I would not be the person I am today. I owe so much to the fabulous Joy Cothern and wish I had the words to express it. So I guess all I'll say is, thanks Mom. I love you!

Blah

I am busy. I kind of feel sad. I would like to curl up on my Mom's lap for a while and listen to her wisdom. I am not home. I have finals this week. Then I will be.

Goodnight.

Saturday

I had a fabulous Friday! Got to spend some quality time with Aley, one of my best friends. :) And then Kyle and I went to see Footloose at his high school. It was all very very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my day! :)

Today I will be relaxing and doing just about nothing. Hanging with some friends here at SAU and performing in Jen's one acts again tonight.

I guess that's all really. Nothin too exciting going on right now. :)
